Cats

We normally perform flank spays for female cats and open castrates for males under general anaesthesia. If your cat is not yet microchipped, we can offer this during their spay/castrate procedure at a discounted rate.

Dogs

We routinely use a midline surgical approach to spay female dogs and a pre-scrotal incision to castrate males under general anaesthesia. Please ask about the pricing for chemical (non-surgical) castration for male dogs if this is an option that you'd like to consider.

Rats, Guinea Pigs and Hamsters

We offer surgical castration under general anaesthetic and chemical castration under sedation for male rats, guinea pigs and hamsters. Please discuss these procedures with our vets.
